It follows retired widower Ralph Roberts whose increasing insomnia allows him to perceive auras and other hidden things, leading him to join a conflict between the forces of the Purpose and the Random. With that said, I got a little homesick and wanted to come back to my horror roots with The King and decided to post my first Stephen King review on Insomina. To date, I do believe that I have read all of his earlier books, except those that are out of print.
